		<description>I read your blog with intrigue as I too, was a radio announcer in the late 70&#039;s and early 80&#039;s.  Had I known Mike Cooper  was about to end his career I would have tried to listen to his last show.  Mike Cooper was a great radio talent.  He had attended Mohawk College as I did but his talent and drive didn&#039;t keep him there long.
Growing up in Niagara I regularly listened to CFTR and CHUM.  Even to this day I can rarely say the numbers 10-50 without CHUM after it.

Radio was challenging and great fun at the time just as the Mortgage business is now.   In both professions I have never had to look at my watch to see when my work day was over.

I am very grateful for the things I learned in my radio years.  They turned out to be the foundation of my success today.
